Spiritual Consultations by Cynthia Gale
Cynthia Gale is a creator of ceremonial art and co-owner with artist Rainer Hildenbrand, of All Matters Gallery, located in Burton, Ohio. Cynthia's ceremonial art has been exhibited in museums and galleries throughout the United States. Her work is in private collections in more than forty states as well as a dozen foreign countries. A native of North Carolina, Gale spent six years of her childhood living in a primarily Native American community (of the Lumbee Tribe). Those years exposed Gale to ceremony, art and indigenous ways of living, thinking and being that impact her to this day. From her teen years to her early thirties, she lived just north of New York City, where she graduated with a liberal arts degree from Sarah Lawrence College. Immediately upon graduation, she began working as an administrator at Sarah Lawrence, eventually spending five years as their dean of student affairs. Simultaneously, she had a second career as an award-winning fiber artist. Both those careers were abruptly ended by illness. Her early thirties were spent finding her way to her own self-healing from a catastrophic illness that was unhelped by traditional medicine. That journey led her to medicine wheel and Shamanic studies and practices. Her healing came full circle when she began to create ceremonial art, using the spiritual teachings that were restoring her health to also create art that celebrates the richness of life's potential and promise. Visitors to the gallery that Cynthia founded in 1991 came to understand that the creative process she uses for her ceremonial art is a process of clairaudience. Clairaudience involves working with spirit and guides to receive revelations and teachings. Her patrons began to ask her to use the same process to do readings for them, to seek advice & guidance on their behalf. Cynthia has become known for her readings by referral as clients recommend her consultations to others. She has delivered talks and readings at the spiritualist community of Lily Dale, New York and her mediumship is referenced in Belleruth Naparstek's, "Your sixth Sense". |
